Hello Everyone! I thought I would just give a little update on what Mike and I have been up to this last week. On Saturday June 6th we went to Spring Lake Park across the street from us. It is where the local baseball team The Gunslingers play. They have a pond that is filled with ducks and geese( at least that's what I think they were). It was crazy these birds would just let you go right up to them. I have never seen anything like it. It was really a cute plays that I wish was taken care of a little better. I definitely want to go back and take pictures with my good camera sometime. Then on Sunday June 7th Mike celebrated his 23rd birthday. Unfortunately we didn't do anything very exciting. I did make him a cake however. Not the best looking cake but it tasted okay. Monday came and it was time for Mike to go back to work. I spent the week picking things up around the house as well as trying to work on Laura's Wedding pictures. I never thought it would take me this long to go through and sort them out. Hopefully this week I will be able to get them finished so I can send them to her. Wednesday night we experienced our first big storm since we have been here and I am not going to lie I was scared.(Big shocker huh?) Nothing to bad thank god just really loud thunder and a lot of rain and CRAZY lightning. The lightning count at one point was 609 strikes. Nothing like the lightning we get back in Syracuse. This weekend we went out and bought a few more things to decorate our apartment with like some stools for the dinning room a plant for the porch, a vase for the living room and a picture for the bathroom. I will put new pictures of the inside up when I get it closer to the way I want it. This week I plan to finish Laura's pictures and start some serious job searching. Well that's all for now I guess. Off to bed so I can get up and get to work on some of those things. Night y'all!
